Stratford Town Walking Football enjoyed another strong weekend, with their over-50s side claiming their second trophy in as many weeks.
The team travelled to Northamptonshire for the Rushden & Diamonds Tournament and, after a slow start, improved steadily throughout the day. Their consistency and control saw them finish as deserved winners.

The club’s over-60s also impressed, reaching the final of the Worcestershire Walking Football Tournament. They faced the experienced Solihull Moors and battled to a 0-0 draw before losing out to a golden goal. Despite the result, the squad delivered a solid performance across the competition.
The progress being made across all age groups is fantastic to see,” said chairman Paul Clarke.
“Days like today are a testament to the hard work, commitment, and team spirit throughout the club.
“Well done to everyone who represented Stratford Town today. We couldn’t be prouder!”
