Ardencaple Over-60s soared to the top of the Walking Football Scotland West Championship table after kicking off their season in style at the weekend.
The team thanked George Coll and ‘Rocky’ from the County Hotel for sponsoring a new set of strips.
Giving them a run out for the first time on Friday, February 13, the first set of league games took place at Toryglen – and finished with four wins from four for the Caple side.
Ardencaple Over-60s
The team beat Queen of the South 3-1, earned an identical victory over Morton, cruised past St Anthony’s – Whites 4-2, and claimed a clean sheet with a 2-0 success against Falkirk Foundation.

The walking football team trains on a Friday morning and plays matches at Toryglen every couple of months.
