Ardencaple top Walking Football Men’s over-60s league after wins

Ardencaple FC’s walking football over-60s team continue to set the pace in the West Championship after another flawless set of results last Friday.

The gents sit top of the 11-team table with eight wins from eight so far, having played the latest round of fixtures at Toryglen on May 1.

Caple beat Drumchapel United 4-3 in their first game of the day, before earning a 1-0 win over Castlemilk in the next match.

A 3-0 victory over Duncanrig followed, and the successful day was rounded off with a 3-1 triumph over John Sutton CC.

Ardencaple are now eight points clear of nearest challengers Saint Anthony’s – Whites, with a vastly superior goal difference.
