Some great news regarding the WFLA. As many will be aware the FA Advisory Group for walking football recently advertised regarding some vacancies on their group.
The group which has representation from the WF Community, County FA Development Officers, Senior FA Staff, charity/health groups, EFL and Premier League Community Groups now has representation from the WFLA.
One of our Committee members was put forward as a community rep but was contacted directly by the FA to see if the WFLA would be happy to be part of the group in order to share their experience of competition and league walking football.
The WFLA Committee agreed to the invitation and one of our committee members is now part of the Advisory Group.
We then got even more news when one of our other Committee members was invited to join the group in their capacity of a community representative.
The Committee feel the appointments recognise the work and value of the WFLA as an organisation and also the valuable contributions to walking football of the individuals involved.
