Wexford FC, the League of Ireland first division team, have announced a new partnership that they say reinforces their “ongoing commitment to supporting communities.”

A new partnership between the club and Wexford Credit Union, will see the financial services provider, come on board as a pillar sponsor and foundation reflecting a shared commitment between both organisations to create opportunities for people of all ages to participate in football.

In addition to their elite teams and academy structures, which compliments an extensive grassroots network of more than 50 junior clubs, Wexford FC have been recognised for its inclusive initiatives which support their Down Syndrome, powerchair and walking football teams.

“This partnership aligns very strongly with our values as a community-focused organisation. The work Wexford FC does across youth development, grassroots football, and inclusive programmes is incredibly important, and we are proud to support and help amplify that impact across the county,” said Wexford Credit Union CEO, Martin Donovan.

The partnership will also see Wexford Credit Union supporting key community and educational initiatives, helping to further strengthen connections with local clubs, volunteers, and families throughout the county.
