SOME GREAT NEWS REGARDING THE WALKING FOOTBALL LEAGUES’ ALLIANCE – The FA Advisory Group for walking football, which has representatives from many areas of the walking football community, including County FA Development Officers, Senior FA Staff, Charity and Health Groups, Community Groups from both the English Football League and Premier League now has a representative from the Walking Football Leagues’ Alliance (‘WFLA’.)
One of the WFLA‘s Committee members had already been put forward as a Community Representative for their local County FA was contacted directly by the FA to see if the WFLA would be happy to be part of the group in order to share their experiences of organising competitions and league walking football? The WFLA Committee have agreed to this kind invitation.
The WFLA Committee feel this appointment recognises the work and value of the WFLA as an organisation and also the valuable contributions to walking football of the individuals involved.
