Bangor FC Walking Footballers raise over £5000 with Charity Walkathon

Bangor FC Walking Football News. Bangor player Maurice Sloan presented £2,200 to the British Heart Foundation with a similar donation made to Prostate Cancer NI. Donations were also made to Friends of the Cancer Centre NI, Remember My Baby/SANDS, along with two additional locally based charities.

Our Walking Football team recently completed their charity walkathon, raising an incredible £5,500 in the process

Bangor player Maurice Sloan presented £2,200 to the British Heart Foundation with a similar donation made to Prostate Cancer NI.

Donations were also made to Friends of the Cancer Centre NI, Remember My Baby/SANDS, along with two additional locally based charities.

Real Calahonda Walking Football Club has teamed up with the Millenium Cocktail Bar (Calahonda) to host the annual fundraising event in aid of cancer research on Saturday 26 September. Held in aid of the Malaga branch of the Spanish cancer association (AECC), the event starts at 6.30pm and includes live entertainment supplied by Mark F, Soul Survivor and Tony Capo, along with a charity karaoke.

Organised by the Extra Time Walking Football Charity, the tournament ran continuously from 9:00am until 9:00pm at the Southend East Community Academy Trust (SECAT) Community Football Pitches.
