Ardencaple FC remain firmly on course for promotion after maintaining a six-point lead at the top of the Walking Football Scotland Over-60s West Championship.
The Helensburgh side were back in action earlier this month and headed into the third round of fixtures at Toryglen with a perfect record after winning all eight of their opening matches.
The weekend proved more challenging, however, as Caple dropped points for the first time this season. They opened with a 1-1 draw against Giffnock SC Auld Timers before bouncing back with an impressive 2-0 win over Largs WFC.

A 3-1 defeat to Queen of the South ended their unbeaten run, but the league leaders responded in style in their final outing, defeating Morton FC 3-2.
The four matches yielded seven points from a possible 12, leaving Caple clear at the top of the standings, ahead of Saint Anthony’s – Whites and Largs.
Results elsewhere ensured there was no change at the summit and the season now moves into its latter stages.
Games resume in September, with all eyes at Caple on the push for promotion to the Premiership.
A league spokesperson said: “A big thank you to all our players, clubs and referees for another excellent day of competitive walking football at Toryglen.”
