We are a bunch of women of colour all over the age of 40 who love playing the beautiful game of football.
We are a newly formed and began playing in April 2021.
We play a slightly slower version of the game called walking football every Sunday morning at Finsbury Park come rain come shine at a outside free space in Finsbury Park.
Skinners Academy Sports Centre Sundays 12.30 – 1.30pm (Entrance Katherine Close)
Our sessions are focused on fun fitness and well being. We are inspiring women of colour to return to or take up walking football as a way of helping with our community’s recovery from the effects of Covid19 and address physical and mental health issues.
The women enjoy the session immensely and we regularly receive positive feedback
Fun. Football. Fitness.
