Walking Football is a variation on regular football and comes from England. In this game type you can only walk and not run. This is to prevent injuries and to give everyone the opportunity to participate.
It is played in different combinations, for example 4 against 4, 5 against 5, 6 against 6, but without keepers. No slides may be made and physical contact is prohibited. In this way a lot is demanded of the positional game and it is the perfect variant for people who have not played football for a long time or who only want to start playing football at a late age. Fun and conviviality together is paramount in this project
If you also want to participate, you can visit the A-field of Sportvereniging Marken on Friday morning from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Walking Football is een variant op het reguliere voetbal en is afkomstig uit Engeland. Bij dit speltype mag er alleen gewandeld worden en dus niet gerend. Dit is om blessures te voorkomen en iedereen de mogelijkheid te bieden mee te kunnen doen.
Er wordt in verschillende samenstellingen gespeeld, bijvoorbeeld 4 tegen 4, 5 tegen 5, 6 tegen 6, echter zonder keepers. Tevens mogen er geen slidings gemaakt worden en is lichamelijk contact verboden. Op deze manier wordt er veel van het positiespel gevraagd en is het de perfecte variant voor mensen, die lang niet meer gevoetbald hebben of pas op late leeftijd willen beginnen met voetballen. Plezier en gezelligheid samen staat in dit project voorop!
Indien u ook mee wilt doen, dan kunt u op vrijdagochtend vanaf 10:00 uur tot 11:00 uur terecht op het A-veld van Sportvereniging Marken.
