Walking football has become increasingly popular over the last few years… and for good reason.
Aimed at adults over 50 years of age, walking football has many social, mental and physical health benefits.
It’s football but with people walking rather than running, helping promote active lifestyles for people regardless of age and fitness. It can also help people lose weight, help prevent loneliness and help people have fun and make new friends!
We are going to trial walking football at the Hub, starting on Thursday 25th November 2021, 13:00-14:00 and then returning a fortnight later.
We will also be offering refreshments in the Hub after each session, providing time to relax and chat.
Please contact Rose Duncan, Hub Manager to book a place
