Foundation of Light is supporting people across Sunderland to live healthier, happier lives in 2024. Southwick residents can take advantage of numerous activities at the Beacon of Light, based in Stadium Park just off Keir Hardie Way, as well as some outreach activity at alternative venues in Sunderland.
Wear Together is a programme of weekly activities aimed at over-55s, designed to increase social activity and reconnect people through the power of Sunderland AFC.
With the help of Change the Game, Foundation of Light runs a Wear Together mixed walking football session. The over 55s session takes place from 10-11am every Tuesday on the Beacon’s indoor rooftop pitch and costs just £1 per session to take part…
