International Ladies Day Tournament 2024 – Marrakesh. What a great experience for La Roja !! These pioneering Chicas travelled to the foot of the Atlas Mountains to take part in this inaugural competition against stellar opposition in the shape of England, Wales & Morocco. Against very experienced International sides the Ladies performed incredibly well in the first half of each game before conceding second half goals that took the matches beyond them in scoreline but remained competitive throughout – for such an inexperienced side , they can be proud of their performances.
The organisation and hospitality from our hosts was absolutely first class – so much food and entertainment!! My sincere thanks go out to Mr Simohamed Moustaine and his team for all their hard work and dedication to the event .
We encourage the International Football Community to enter the event next year and help grow the sport in Morocco because they are deserving of your support and you will have a great time .
Team Spain continue to build and we now look forward to our next competition which is in France in July where this group and the Men’s teams compete against France , England, Italy & The Basque Country amongst others…
