We are delighted to be able to present our readers with information from DENS – the first port of call for people in Dacorum facing homelessness, poverty + social exclusion – about their Jurassic Coast walking fundraiser for 2024
“Dear all at Walking Sports,
I hope this e mail finds you well.
I’m getting in touch with local walking groups to ask for support in helping us to promote our 2024 DENS Trek. Sadly, the demand for our services is growing and so it’s a critical time for us to raise funds to continue our vital work within the community. Therefore I’m really excited to be promoting our Jurassic Coast Trek taking place this summer and we’d be so grateful if you could share this information with your fellow walkers please?
The Trek takes place over 5th-7th July and is a 24 mile walk along the stunning Jurassic Coast- England’s first natural World Heritage Site. The beautiful coastal path from journey from Peveril Point to the beautiful Kimmeridge Beach provides undulating cliffs, stunning views and surrounding landscape including Durdle Door- one of Dorset most famous landmarks. Just to give you a little information about DENS, our aim is to be the first port of call for individuals facing homelessness and crisis across Dacorum. We feed thousands of struggling families every year via our foodbank and support and empower those most vulnerable to take the next positive step in their lives.
