This week has seen the EFL Week of Action, where every season a week is devoted to highlighting the work done by the EFL’s 72 clubs in their communities, and on Monday Lee Angol and Ryan Jackson went to take part in the Girls’ Development Training that is run by the Sutton United Foundation every week at the Goals Centre in North Cheam.
On Wednesday it was back to Goals North Cheam to see the walking football (above). There were twenty gentlemen there, all over the age of 60 with one in his mid 80s. The football was fantastic but more importantly the social aspect shone through, with everybody laughing and smiling throughout the session.
