WFLA National Cup
The Walking Football Leagues Alliance (WFLA), will be holding a National Cup competition in 2023. This competition is only for teams who are members of WFLA FA affiliated leagues. Currently we have 17 FA or FAW affiliated member leagues across England and Wales, involving over 300 teams.
Last year we held the WFLA League Champions Cup and the WFLA Inter League Cup which were a great success. These competitions will also be played in 2023.
In the WFLA National Cup there will be 6 age categories, over 50s, 60s, 65s and 70s and ladies over 40s and over 50s. The Team Registration form has been emailed to all member leagues for forwarding to their club members. It is also available on the WFLA website – https://wfla.uk/ The deadline for registration is 15th January.
If you play in an FA affiliated league and they are currently not members of the WFLA, perhaps it would be a good idea to query why not, as you are missing out on some excellent competitions.
The WFLA is a free to join, non profit making organisation, whose aims are to help establish, promote, and support FA affiliated walking football leagues and to encourage the growth of grassroots competitive walking football in safe environments.
