Three exciting appointments to our England Management teams. Belated congratulations to Barry Gavahan 40s Women and Heather Kirkland 60s Women and, the latest appointment, Dave Castle Over 50s Men. Congratulations and good luck to all.
Delighted to announce the appointment of Dave Castle – new over 50’s manager replacing Lach Geddes who resigned due to increased work commitments. Appointed in 2022 he created a quality squad who won the 2023 World Nations Cup beating Czech Republic on pens in the final.
His team has remained undefeated during his tenure. The WFA Board would like to thank him for all work and commitment in developing the elite side of Walking Football. Lach will remain an active member of the WFA team in the regional set up.
