Women’s Walking Football with Your Back Yard CIC in West Leeds
We’re so excited to announce our plans to start a WOMENS walking football team! After the success of our mixed team, we thought we’d look into starting a women’s over-40s team.
In case you don’t know, walking football is just as it sounds! Football, just at a slightly slower pace with rules of 2 touches per person before passing it. This makes the game incredibly inclusive for all ages and abilities. We’re targeting this group at women ages 40 and over living in Leeds.
We are hoping to start 2 teams one more social and one more competitive to join the league!
Training every Friday 11am -12pm Walking Football Pitch, Field Opposite the Black Lion Pub, Broad Lane LS13 2NJ
Our first friendly will be held at Goals Leeds, Kirkstall November 7th at 7.30pm
