We are a group of more than 20 women that love nothing more than playing walking football. We have been playing together at our team for over a year.
We come from all different backgrounds and all play for different reasons but mainly to improve our physical health and mental wellbeing and most importantly friendship. We play in competitive tournaments and are part of a walking football league.
We have been a very successful club and have won lots of silverware along the way.
Unfortunately, we have been suspended from our current club through no fault of our own, we are still fighting this ongoing battle but this has left us with no place to train, no kit, no equipment and all of our funds taken away from us. We are all devastated about what has happened to us and we are looking to raise money so we can continue training and playing whilst the investigations continue into why we have been removed from our club.
The funds will help us pay for balls, bibs, cones, kit etc and entry fees into tournaments and league games. We would appreciate any donation, as this would enable us to continue to do what we love and offer a safe, fun, and affordable opportunities for everyone who is a part of or would like to be a part of our community and help us to continue doing what we love best playing football.
