Here is some general information about our club. It’s designed to be helpful and informative for potential new members – but please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you still have questions or require more information. We are here to help!
Where do we play?
Currently we have playing sessions twice a week. On Wednesdays from 3.15pm at The Gytes Leisure Centre and on Fridays from 2.30pm at The Drill Hall – our spiritual home! Both in Peebles.

In line with the mission statement of Walking Football Scotland, our sessions provide opportunities, ‘to improve, maintain and promote the physical, mental and social wellbeing of older adults through walking football’. We welcome all participants (ladies over 40 and gents over 50) regardless of their level of ability or fitness. Enjoyment is at the heart of all our activities.
Whilst we currently enter teams in the Over 60 and Over 65 men’s Walking Football Scotland leagues, as well in the various cup competitions, we are equally committed to those who wish to play just socially. As the club membership grows we would love to see the development of a women’s team and a men’s over 50’s team in the future as well as more social activities.
We currently hold sessions twice a week with members playing when it suits them best. Some play once a week and others twice whilst others just enjoy the after session social activities!
