Rotherfield Walking Football club is open to men over the age of 50 and women over the age of 40. WF is a small-sided version of regular football with its own rules, such as no running and ball under head height.
We operate sessions twice weekly;
• Thursday from 10.00am -11.30 at Bishopswood Sports Ground, RG4 9BT.
• April – October Monday evenings from 5.45pm at Bishopswood Sports Ground.
• For the winter months November-March 5pm at Highdown School astro turf in Emmer Green.
The cost is £3.00 per session along with an annual registration fee with Rotherfield Utd.
There is no ‘season’ with WF and we offer about 95 sessions each year.
We also arrange several social events throughout the year.
