Walking football sessions in Lambeth
Join players of all genders and abilities every Friday 19:30-20:30 and Sunday from 10:00 to 11:00. For the time-being we also play at no charge on Wednesday evenings between 19:30-20:30 at the Roupell Park outside pitch just off Brixton Hill. The affordable sessions only cost £6 and are played on brilliant outdoor 3G football pitches, however only astroturf boots are permitted. We also offer a monthly package at an unbeatable £20 per month which covers all 8 Friday and Sunday sessions. All payments are made by bank transfer or debit card (we don’t use cash).
We focus on players over 50 years of age, but we permit on a case-by-case basis younger people who have injuries or conditions which mean they can’t play the running version of the game.
There is a social side to the club, with a post-match chat and pint after the Friday sessions, pub quizzes and the occasional away tournament.
Whether you’re a beginner or a veteran in the world of walking football, everyone is welcome to join the growing group of players at Ferndale Community Sports Centre.
