Dorchester Walking Football Club

Walking football sessions for over 45’s take place twice a week within the county town.

Monday and Thursday evenings from 6.00 – 7.00pm at The Avenue Stadium, Weymouth Avenue, Dorchester on the main pitch. Access is from the car park at the rear of the ground. Moulded stud boots only.

All training sessions cost £5.00 and can be paid either in cash weekly, or via direct debit (please ask for details), are open to anyone to attend irrespective of age, ability or gender, it is about inclusion and enjoyment

Currently the club has over 40 members of mixed abilities and a wide age range into the 80’s. We also have teams in a Dorset league playing against other local clubs, and players in both County and National teams at different age levels.

The club is eager to develop, progress, evolve and increase its player numbers, and would welcome anybody who would like to join us either for a free trial session, or on a more regular basis (please note that if you wish to play on the pitch at The Avenue Stadium you must wear moulded sole boots). We also have an active social calendar and meet regularly throughout the year for food and drink and a lot of amusing banter!
