We have been successful in applying for funding from the Northern Premier League Trident Fund and have now launched Women’s Walking Football. The sessions are aimed at women over 40, providing a great opportunity for the local community to meet and get some weekly exercise in a fun and friendly environment.
The sessions are on every Tuesday 5 – 6pm with refreshments available afterwards. Whether you are a complete beginner or have played football all your life, we welcome all abilities.
Each session will be led by one of our experienced Women’s Team footballers and will involve a warm up, some light drills and a game of football. We will be following the FA Walking Football rules, so please read them prior to joining.
The football will be played on the 3G pitch so please wear appropriate footwear. There is no requirement to book in advance, feel free to turn up on the day. If you would like any more information, please email Jennie
