Teams from all over the UK will compete in a ‘walking football’ tournament at Morecambe FC.
The tournament will take place on Monday May 13 at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium, starting at 10.30am and finishing at around 5.15pm.

There will be two matches taking place at a time, and the event is free for spectators.
‘Walking football’ is played at walking pace with no running, jogging or heading and reduced physical contact.

- Morecambe Strollers (team of ex-Shrimps professionals)
- Pollok United WF (Scottish Cup winners)
- Burnley FC in the Community WF
- Everton FC in the Community WF
- Wolves FC Foundation WF
- Neston Nomads (from the Wirral)
- Workington St Joseph’s WF
- Leeds Walking Football
- Nottingham Forest WF
The tournament is sponsored by Morecambe firm Aqua Engineering. David Brayshaw from the company will also be playing in the tournament.
