A walking football tournament with around 300 players is happening in Cwmbran.
Walking football is a slower-paced version of traditional football designed to make the game more accessible to older adults or people with reduced mobility, while keeping the fun and competitive spirit of the sport.
Running is not allowed, and players must always have at least one foot on the ground.
The event, organised by Cwmbran Celtic Walking Football Club, will see 35 teams from across Wales compete on Llantarnam Primary School’s modern 3G pitch.
