Hitchin Town FC Walking Football Team – Don’t Hang Up Your Boots Just Yet!

After a fantastic turnout for our first session, Walking Football is officially coming to North Hertfordshire! While the south of the county has big walking football clubs like Watford, Cheshunt and Hemel Hempstead, we’re looking to bring the slightly slower version of the beautiful game to North Herts – and we want YOU involved – so why not pop along to the next taster session?

When: Friday, 8th May 2026 | 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM Where: The Arena Cost: ABSOLUTELY FREE!

Whether you’re looking to stay active or you’ve still got that competitive itch, everyone is welcome. We’ve already got our sights set on a friendly tournament in Maulden in the coming weeks and even entering the Walking FA Cup next season!

The biggest hurdle is convincing people. Trust us – the buzz of the game is exactly the same, just at a different pace. Come down, give it a go, and see why it’s the fastest-growing sport in the country! All over 45-year-olds welcome and you are never too old!
