WaiBOP Football and Rotorua Hockey and are working together to pilot Walking Football in Rotorua during November 2022.
We are seeking interest for teams to register for 5 v 5 Walking Football.
DETAILS
5-aside Walking Football
- Where: Rotorua Hockey Turf (Smallbone Park), Devon St West, Rotorua.
- When: Sundays, November 6 to December 11.
- Game Times: 5pm to 6:30pm.
- Fees: $256 per team ($32 per player – includes $10 Turf Fees per player, administration costs & referee fees – teams to provide their own Size 5 Balls).
- Teams: 8 Players max per team – mixed teams of any ages welcome.
- Referees: Please contact us if you know of anyone who is keen to Referee – they will be paid.
FORMAT
- 5-aside with Goal Keepers
- 2x 20min games in a station rotation format with a 10min interval between games
- 2 games per team per night
- 1/4 turf – using hockey goals
- 7-8 people per team (max of 3 subs)
- Rolling subs – max of 3 subs per team
WaiBOP Football is using Friendly Manager for Walking Football registrations.
The Club/School or Team Manager must sign up on behalf of the team, and then add in each players information. These links are for team registrations only, please do not use these links to register individual players.
