We have a fundraising walk due to start next Friday,10th March and continue through to St. Patrick’s Day. The Camino de Navvy is a celebration of the Navvies who constructed our canal network, and we intend to commemorate them by walking the entire length of the Grand Union Canal from London to Birmingham (152 miles including the extra distance to our accommodation at the end/start of each day).
16 players from the Republic of Ireland Walking Football Association will take part, with two (Paddy Armstrong and Steve Shiel) walking every day.
