Recently we attended Colliers Park in Wrexham Wales, for an inspirational Walking Football match between an England team made up of players who have had / or are currently in treatment for Heart, Cancer, Stroke and Parkinson’s health conditions.
England HCSP was playing a North Wales squad made up of 10 different players, 1 player being from each of the 10 teams who play in the North Wales League in this special event. It was Pete Hazeldine, a great ambassador for Walking Football in Wales, who selected a member from each team to play today against England HCSP.
This event was truly a great advert for Walking Football and its health, fitness and social benefits that it brings to all of us.
