MEMBERS of Inverkip Walking Football club has netted a cash boost of £1,000.
Morton in the Community runs the over-50s classes in conjunction with Inverkip Hub.
The group are delighted to have received the grant award from Inverclyde Windfarm Fund.
This allowed the club to buy a new sets of goals and nets for for the Inverkip Hub’s 3G pitch.
The group meet on Mondays and Fridays from 1pm and 2pm, followed by refreshments.
It costs £2 which includes tea/coffee and cake.
