The Walking Football Association was formed in 2016 and is a not-for-profit-making company run entirely by volunteers. The members of the WFA are the affiliated clubs and a Board of Directors are responsible for running the WFA on a day-to-day basis.
The Directors are: CEO/Finance – Paul Carr I Acting Chair/Grassroots/Impairment – Stuart Langworthy I England Teams – Paul Murtagh I Women Walking Football – Gillian Burgess I Marketing/webmaster – Ken Davies
Additionally (not on the board): Secretary – Ian Moore
As the senior National Governing Body for Walking Football in England, we are growing rapidly as we continue our award-winning and successful work across all elements of the sport, from grassroots to elite international teams.
