An over-60s walking football team from Norwich has claimed national honours after triumphing at the League Champions Cup in Birmingham.
Norwich Soca Seniors (NSS) secured the title at the Walking Football Leagues Alliance tournament, which brought together the winners of regional leagues across the country.

The Norfolk side qualified by topping the FDC’s Norfolk League earlier this year and faced five other national league champions at the finals.
NSS recorded 1-0 wins over Bolton and Barnet, edged out East Riding 2-1, and drew 0-0 with Godalming and Aylesbury to finish top of the table.
Colin Fenn, who played a key role in the side’s success, was named player of the tournament.
The competition was held in support of Prostate Cancer UK, raising awareness and funds for the charity’s work.
The team trains and plays at the Football Development Centre in Bowthorpe, west of Norwich.
