In each category, we will be looking at Mixed, Women and Impairment Walking Football. We are proud to have won a Bronze Award in the 2023 Association Excellence Awards – Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Champion
The categories
WFA Team of the Year – to include Mixed, Women’s and Impairment teams
WFA Club of the Year
WFA Coach/Club Official/Contributor of the Year
WFA Referee of the Year
As well as choosing a winner in each category, the WFA may award ‘highly commended’ to other nominations. This is the third time we have run the awards and we were incredibly impressed by the quality of nominations last time. We look forward to, once again, being able to celebrate success and positivity in our sport and are delighted to be supported by our sponsor this year KP
On behalf of the whole Walking Football Community – thank you to all the volunteers who make our sport possible. We should all still be pinching ourselves as 12 years ago our sport did not exist – we are able to continue to play the game we love, all-be-it in a different format, or, for many, they are able to take it up as a new sport.
