Beginning on March 11th at the Letterkenny Community Centre and running from 7-8pm each Wednesday, the free programme will be open to men and women aged 40+ who want to continue enjoying the beautiful game without overdoing it on the physical front and risking injury.
As well as the benefits of having improved cardiovascular health and increased muscle strength, walking football can also boost your mental well-being and sense of community.

Alongside the football, there will also be a great chance for a chat over a cup of tea afterwards in the Jim Lynch Building.
All six weeks of the programme will be free thanks to funding from the Donegal Sports Partnership.
