We’re looking for more Girl Power in 2022! Get fit in 2022 and have fun in a secure outdoor environment! We’re looking for more female players to join our Tuesday night Mixed Walking Football sessions. New female players will be made more than welcome by our female liaison officer.
Walking Football is really just football at walking pace. The game is small sided, with no running on or off the ball, very little contact and kick-ins instead of thrown-ins. It is sociable, fun and keeps you both mentally and physically active!
Walking Football is aimed at everyone over 50. However younger players are welcome to come along, as well. Don’t worry if you haven’t played much football and don’t know the rules – we’re looking for players of all abilities!
What do I need? A pair of trainers, t-shirt and leggings is fine. We will give out coloured bibs to distinguish each team. Don’t forget a waterbottle to keep yourself hydrated.
Every Tuesday between 5pm – 6pm, on the 3G Arena astroturf pitch at Nantwich Town FC. Cost is just £4 per session and there’s free parking. We play all year round.
