Nailsea & Tickenham Football Club has announced it will be partnering up with Nailsea Walking Football Team.
The club were approached by founders Dave Newcombe and Dave Morgan who started Nailsea United WFC after exploring various ways to become affiliated to an existing Senior football club.
The team will make an official application to compete in the Over 50s and over 60s League’s and continue playing many friendlies and Tournaments, with the club now on the lookout for more enthusiastic over 50‘s males and females over 35s.
The newly named Team will be managed by Dave Morgan who has been in the game for many years and played his football for Port of Bristol in the Gloucestershire County League and Dave Newcombe who will oversee as Chairman who previously played for Portishead WFC.
Both now see the setup of this newly named team, a great opportunity for older generation players who want to continue to keep fit and compete and enjoy taking part in a sport that has seen phenomenal growth over the past few years and will undoubtedly continue to thrive…
