A pensioner has hailed a walking football club for saving his life and helping to ensure doctors detected his prostate cancer early.
Peter Hill praised the impact of a talk he received from Prostate Scotland after his fellow members of Morton in the Community’s walking football team had held a fundraiser for the charity. Since being diagnosed with the disease last year, Peter has undergone a number of treatments, including radiotherapy and a course of hormones, but hopes he will soon be given the all-clear by doctors…
