Corporate Walking Football Tournament: “Footsteps to Freedom Cup” to Celebrate 50 Years of Life-Saving Work.
MK Act, the leading domestic abuse charity in Milton Keynes, is proud to announce The Footsteps to Freedom Cup, a walking football tournament to mark its 50th anniversary. The event will take place at Sport Central and is being delivered in partnership with Milton Keynes College and Sport Central, who are generously supporting this special celebration.

The Footsteps to Freedom Cup is more than just a tournament – it’s a powerful tribute to the thousands of survivors MK Act has supported on their journey to safety, recovery, and independence. The event promises a day of community, friendly competition, and fundraising, with all proceeds supporting MK Act’s life-saving services and the development of a new purpose-built refuge in the city.
- Thursday 25th September 3-6pm
- Open to men and women.
- £200 per team of up to 6 players – includes Domino’s Pizza
- Additional tickets available at £35 each
- Music, food stall, bar, football quiz, and charity auction
