Long Eaton WFC is a semi-competitive club with separate sections & sessions for both sexes.
The men’s sessions are run on a Monday Evening from 6:30-7:30 followed by the Ladies session from 7:30-8:30pm at Friesland Leisure Centre’s Sports-hall in Sandiacre, Derbyshire during the rest of the year for most of the year. In the summer months the men train on Long Eaton United’s 5G pitches at Grange Park, Long Eaton.
The age groups range currently from early 50’s to mid-seventies for men and 35-65 for women although the upper age range is not fixed.
As well as train, we like to play friendly matches and tournaments and whilst we like to win, we don’t consider this the be all and end all as enjoyment and friendship are considered the most important factors. In addition to the playing side, we also like to hold social events that all are invited to.
