On Thursday, November 6th, Bristol City Robins Foundation’s Walking Footballers participated in hands-on CPR training with University Hospitals Bristol and Weston as part of EFL Week of Action.
After witnessing a medical emergency on the pitch at a football festival, the Robins Foundation’s Walking Football team expressed an interest in learning how to do CPR and use a defibrillator.

After the workshop, participants then burned off some energy on the pitch.
The Foundation’s Walking Football sessions focus on slowing down, allowing participants to enjoy the game, no matter their ability.
