    How long have you played Walking Football? Played for 3 yrs

2) Why did you first get involved with Walking Football?

Got in w/f for fitness and enjoyment plus social activity

4) How many times a week do you take part in Walking Football sessions?

Twice a week 

3) What one or two things do you currently do in your training sessions that you think are important to avoid injury?

A good warm up is a must 

5) Have you played competitive Walking Football, if so which tournaments / leagues?

Yes we are a very competitive team  Peoples cup /  Nationals/ and every tournament we can attend

6) Has your diet changed since you have started playing Walking Football?  If so what is different?  

Diet has not changed   still a pig!!

7) Do you feel fitter and healthier since you have started playing Walking Football and if so in which ways?

Yes a little fitter and healthier

8) Have you had any injuries playing and if so what were they?

Just the odd strain

 9) Do you always have a club member present who has had first aid training at your games and training sessions?

Yes first aid at  all sessions

10) Has your social life changed since you started playing, and if so in what way?

Social life is more active on training day and matches

11) What are your best and worst memories of playing Walking Football?

Best memories was Beating the Leggy Mambos, in a final  one of the first team to beat them in 3 years during their reign as British over 50s champs   no bad memories 

12) How else has playing Walking Football affected your life?

No change in my life just very involved with w/f

13) What do you like most about Walking Football?

The thrill, involvement, Bragging rights  and competitiveness

14) What do you like least about Walking Football?

The people that they think they know the lot!!  Refs that don’t know the rules,  the moaners,  and the purists that have never played and know more than guys who have had years of experience.

15) What are your goals for the future when playing Walking Football?

To run a successful team and to have our players  get better and healthier  and to be remembered as a pioneer for the sport in its early days
