Walking football is a low-threshold offering suitable for the elderly and others with different health challenges. As the name implies, walking football is a football type where it is only allowed to go. In addition, tough tackles or head-height shots are not allowed, making it less stressful to play. Go football is no performance sport. Here is the focus on public health! Where participants receive an active and social meeting place.
In recent years, walking football has become very popular, and several clubs have started with this offer. That’s why we want to offer this to the Bodø population in Grand Bodø.
Every Thursday in August it becomes possible to play walking football on the Bankgata artificial turf course from 12.00 – 13.00. There is no registration, just stop by if you want to play, or for a chat if this is something that is right for you.
From September, hopefully, we move into the Nordland Hall, so that this can become an activity offer even beyond the autumn / winter.

Gåfotball er et lavterskeltilbud som passer for eldre og andre med ulike helseutfordringer. Som navnet tilsier er gåfotball en fotballtype der det kun er lov til å gå. I tillegg er det ikke lov til tøffe taklinger eller skudd over hodehøyde, noe som gjør det mindre belastende å spille. Gåfotball er ingen prestasjonsidrett. Her er det fokus på folkehelse! Hvor deltakerne får en aktiv og sosial møteplass.
De siste årene har gåfotball blitt veldig populært, og flere klubber har startet opp med dette tilbudet. Derfor ønsker vi i Grand Bodø å tilby dette til Bodøs befolkning.
Hver torsdag i August blir det mulig å spille gåfotball på Bankgata kunstgressbane fra 12.00 – 13.00. Det er ingen påmelding, bare kom innom om du ønsker å spille, eller for en prat om dette er noe som passer for deg.
Fra september flytter vi forhåpentligvis inn i Nordlandshallen, slik at dette kan bli et aktivitetstilbud også utover høsten/vinteren.
