Grimsby Town Foundation are pleased that Corinthians Walking Football Club has agreed to partner with us in an exciting crossover aiming to shine the light on walking football in the local area.
Last week, the partnership was launched in fitting style as Corinthians Walking Football Club were invited to Blundell Park to play on the hallowed turf, with around 35 players taking part in two exhibition matches.
The event showcased not only the fun and competitive spirit of walking football but also the shared commitment to inclusivity, health, and community engagement that underpins this merger.
The Corinthians have long been recognised for their inclusive approach, providing men and women of all abilities the chance to enjoy the game in a safe, social, and competitive environment at a pace suitable for all ages.
