A Greenock football star is utilizing the unifying essence of the beautiful game to foster community among men through weekly kickabouts.
Craig Molloy has launched a walking football initiative that takes place every Thursday from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Lady Octavia Sports Centre. Supported by funding from Inverclyde Council, these sessions are designed to help local men stay fit while providing a social outlet.
“Many in the older generation of Inverclyde have a significant background in football, having played for various teams over the years,” Craig remarked. “This group provides a fantastic opportunity for these men to reconnect with old friends and make new acquaintances as they engage in the sport.”
