Greavsie’s Goalscorers Walking Football is aimed at men and women over the age of 50.
The rules are different in that there is no contact between players.
The teams are 6 a side and the players walk through matches at their own pace.
Players are not allowed to run and it is a non-contact sport. There are also overhead height restrictions.
It is played at a much slower pace in consideration of the player’s age usually on artificial pitches.
Many people who have loved and played the sport can get back into playing safely but also competitively.
£20 Per Month (includes membership to the Members’ Club)
Writtle Football Club Wednesdays 10am-11am / AFC Sudbury Thursdays 10am-11am
