Gloucester man getting his mojo back through walking football following stroke

A football fan all of his life, a Gloucester man is making a miraculous return to the sport following a massive stroke. But this time it will be walking football, a game that is making huge differences for those affected by critical illness.

Stepping out onto the pitch at Abbeymead Rovers is a huge achievement for James Clifton, 36. In 2018, young and fit, working as a tree surgeon, and married with three boys, life was good with no indication it was about to change dramatically.
