Football Queensland is excited to announce a first of its kind Walking Football Fest, with expressions of interest now open for teams and individuals interested in participating.
The four-day Walking Football Fest hosted at QUT Stadium, Kelvin Grove, will be held between Tuesday 4 July and Friday 7 July featuring two parts; the National Club Team Tournament held in the first two days, followed by a State vs State tournament.
“Football Queensland’s Walking Football Fest will welcome both new and existing local, national and international teams, and will show off the inclusivity of the game with Open Age Social Games, varied formats and Come and Try Sessions,” Football Queensland Senior Manager – Game Development Kate Lawson said.
