We are delighted to announce that Bali, Indonesia, has been the successful host for the inaugural Asian Nations Cup of Walking Football. The tournament will be taking place in January 2028.

Karaganda hosted the inaugural Walking Football Challenge "Karagandy Legends", an amateur tournament for participants aged 50 and over. A unique feature of the tournament was that, for the first time in Kazakhstan, women aged 50 and over took to the pitch alongside men, becoming the first female participants in the country's Walking Football history. On Sunday 30 May, the Yeomans Community hosted its third annual Walking Football tournament. It was a very hot day but the Angels came home with two trophies making it three weekends on the trot they have added to the Club Trophy cabinet. The Over 50s tournament consisted of 13 teams from across the Southeast as far as Clacton and Farnham. It was a very competitive tournament despite the heat and a very tight finish in Group A where Chatham Town Ballers and Aylesford Amblers finished joint top. In Group B Boca Seniors from Farnham were clear winners but the competition for 2nd to 4th place was tight with Insulators from Paddock Wood just coming out on top.

The Brown’s Sporting resort, just outside Vilamoura, was staging its ninth May International Walking Football Tournament and the two Ramsgate teams were competing against sides from elsewhere in England plus Scotland and Portugal. The Ramsgate Blues team reached the main final before losing 1-0 against Coleshill Strollers from the West Midlands while the Ramsgate Yellows got to the Plate Final, also going down 1-0 this time to a Portuguese expat side.
