Guests from Wuppertal’s twin town of South Tyneside were invited to a friendship tournament.
International visit to walking footballers in Wuppertal: Last weekend, Hebburn Town FC from South Tyneside in England was a guest. The Walking football- SSV Germania Wuppertal team invited to a tournament.
A town twinning between Wuppertal and the English city near Newcastle has existed since 1951. The contact between the walking football teams of SSV Germania Wuppertal and Hebburn Town FC only came through one Photo reportage which was published at the end of last year on the English-language platform “ Goal Click ”. It quickly became clear that the two teams wanted to meet for a game.
